| Wow, xanga has definitely changed. It took me 5 minutes before I even figured out how to blog!
Anyways, I've seriously been living in a dream for the past year or so. Despite a few oopsies here and there, I've pretty much had everything I wanted and when I wanted. I was totally blinded.
I've finally come back to reality. It ended with a phone call to my parents. I wanted to take summer school, but my Dad seemed against it. He thinks I can finish my degree within the next year. Even though that is what I've been planning, it seems almost impossible, especially if I need to do an internship and take the GRE or MCAT. I feel so overwhelmed. Presently all I'm thinking about is just passing my classes. I haven't even thought about taking the GRE or PCAT. Also some of the classes that I'll be facing are the hardest yet. I don't know, I'm scared and I don't know what to do. I don't think I can even get into pharmacy school let alone go to med school.
My dad even agrees with me. He says I should just finish up, get a job and maybe take business administration classes along the side. Wow, even my parents don't believe in me.
Oh and before I got off the phone with my parents, I asked them if I could go to China with Ryan. The answer was no, so it looks like I won't be going anywhere for a very long time unless Silvia or Marissa goes along. My life is so boring.
Anyways, that's about all I have to say.

| My trip to SF started out being very innocent. My mother had a facial
appointment at 2PM and I was to accompany. That was the plan, then we
would come home and at least make it in time for dinner. This would be
our second time to the facial salon but we still don't know where it
was because my boyfriend and my father were the ones who lead us there
last time. Considering this time, it'll be only my mother and I, this
trip was definitely an excuse to use my mother's recently purchased
handy dandy GPS.
Well, I woke up at 9AM that morning and lied in bed watching anime,
this is something I do when I am on vacation at home. Then my mother
knocks on my door telling me to go shower and to get ready. Well, I
did, and then we noticed my dad took my mother's car where she has the
GPS. "Great, now we have to go find Dad at work and take back the GPS."
Says my Mom. Good thing too because my Dad left his messenger full of
his work stuff and lunch.
So off we went at 11AM towards my father's workplace. He works
somewhere in Fremont, and then we got lunch at a local Chinese
restaurant. The food was ok, I've had better in SF china town with my
boyfriend. While eating lunch, my father tells me how much he enjoyed
going to an ABC cafe the last time we went to SF with my boyfriend. (An
ABC cafe is pretty much a restaurant that's very traditional to Hong
Kong where you get very cheap food. The menu usually includes breakfast
and lunch items such as macaroni, noodle soups, baked pork chops with
rice, etc. and you usually get milk tea with it all. We ended up going
there for dinner last time, and it was delicious! Plus it was 3
entrees, a bowl of soup, plus all you can eat rice for only $18 for 4
people!)
After we dropped off my father back to his workplace, it was 1PM and we
were on our way to SF. We turned on the trusty GPS and headed towards
the bay bridge where we paid $4 toll. I've never been on the bay bridge
before, it was beautiful! The scenery all around was beautiful that
day, the weather was nice also, it was great! And around 2PM, we made
it to the facial salon, just in time!
As we walked in the reception area, it was packed! I mean, i understand
the place wasn't that big to begin with, but there was definitely more
people here on this Friday afternoon than the last time we came.
Luckly, we were here for a touch up so we were able to get in quick and
fast. Most of the other people were there to get their eyebrows
tattooed so they had to wait. It was sad because as we were leaving,
more and more people were showing up. The receptionist then begun
turning away people because the line was already too long. One lady
came and they told her to come back next time because she lived so
close while everyone else there traveled far to the salon. She then
proceeded to say, "Ok, how about tomorrow?"
The receptionist replied, "We will be also busy tomorrow, how about Sunday?"
The lady then says, "I've been here twice already and each time you told me to come back! When will i get my facial!?"
In the end, the lady left, but I hope she gets her facial soon!
We left the salon around 3PM, and then I decided I wanted my haircut
since we were there and I doubt I'll be coming back this break since
gas is so expensive. We roam around on my boyfriend's instructions to
find parking. There were a couple spots open on really steep hills, but
my mother almost lost control falling backwards while trying to park in
them. We finally ended up parking in a parking structure.
We proceeded to the barber shop, I waited one hour before a hairdresser
finally touched my hair, but when he did, he took one hour and he gave
me bangs. I actually kind of like it, it's very different from what I
had before. My mother got kind of mad waiting for me to finish. She
told me that while he was cutting my hair, the guy behind him finished
3 people and that there were times where she wanted to tell him that it
was fine and that we had to go.
Before we left SF, my mother wanted to buy some custards from the
Golden Gate bakery. Supposedly they had the best custards and melon
breads. We ended up buying $34 worth of custards, melon breads, cakes
and various others my mother went crazy on. It was 5:30PM, we decided
it was time to go home.
When we got into the car, I pressed the *Go Home* button on the GPS,
and it lead us across the golden gate bridge. For the whole trip I've
trusted the GPS up until now. I noticed we were on 1/4 of a tank of
gas, and we were going 101N when we should have gone south. I started
panicking, but i made sure we got gas before anything else happens.
While we were at the gas station, my mother then mentions that when you
press *Go Home* it actually takes you to the manufacturing company
because she didn't set it to our home address yet. Great job mother! So
we set it to our house address and it eventually leads us back to the
bay bridge towards Richmond. I call my boyfriend and told him the
story, and he laughed and said "Woman, learn to drive." I hung up on
him. It was definitely the wrong time to make jokes.
So when we should have gotten home by 6:30PM, we ended up getting home
around 8PM. It was pretty ridiculous, but we got to go across 2 bridges
(both top and bottom sections of the bay bridge) in one day so we
pretended we went on a mini road trip for the scenery. All in all, it
was a fun day spending quality time with my mother.
| Yesterday was fun. We went to Hot Pot City. I was surprised by how cheap it was! $18 a person??? Holy crap! I'd go again! It was my first time, but I kinda knew what i was doing. It was funny because everyone wanted to sit next to Mickey because he made good "sauce". I do admit, he did make a heck of a sauce. We ate so much, like 3 rounds full of meat on the hotpot. Yum... It wasn't the same as going to the SF Hot Pot though. It was much better because they kept bringing us water and letting us stay, unlike SF, they turned off our burner after 1hr(?) and quickly shoved a bill in our face.
Anyways, after the Hot Pot, we decided to go play some pool at Edgies. :) I suckkkkk wow.... It was almost embarrassing. I also got hit in the face by my "partner" Anthony with his stick! Well, it wasn't a hit, it as more of a swish across the face which left a blue chalk mark on my nose. *Sigh* oh well, good times.
After we decided to play some poker at Anthony's. Holy crap, I can't believe Denise and Cecil won! :) They were so lucky though. I got home around 4AM at the end. I've never been out this late with the guys! I hope to do it again, but I'm not interested in playing poker because I suck at that too!

| I haven't blogged for a while, so I figured it's time.
The other night was supposed to be an all girl's night. Jade, Lisa, Bonny, Silvia and I were supposed to meet up at BJ's? Too bad it didn't happen because Lisa had a family emergency and Jade had something to do. So... there I was just out of the shower and ready 2 hours early. Why? I don't know. I guess I felt kind of disgusting and wanted to shower before I held the bathroom for hostage when everyone gets home. Anyways, so I was kind of shocked when Jade called me right out of the shower and told me that we should cancel because we're all supposed to be there, and it wouldn't be the same without Lisa.
Ok, so I was looking forward to this gathering because I have NOTHING to do besides sew dresses. I think I sewed for a couple hours already. At that point I was kind of desperate to do something. I called Silvia up to see what's she up to. I mean... she was going to go to this girl's night out too, she can't possibly have had other plans. "Well, just great." I found her to be at John's place. She said they don't have plans, but if they think of something they'll let me know. "Argh, I hate being third wheel, also John doesn't talk much, only to her so it feels kind of awkward." So she signs on AIM and tells me she wants to go to Christmas in the Park. It's kind of cold outside and I really don't feel like walking around there with them two cuddly cuddly while i freeze my ass off wishing Ryan was there.
"Wait, who else would want to hang out?" Mickey! I reach for my phone, but saw him signed on AIM. Me: Hey. Him: Hey, what's up? Me: Well, I was supposed to have dinner with the gals, but apparently some can't make it so it's canceled. Silvia wants to go to Christmas in the Park, but I don't feel like being 3rd wheel for the night. Want to do something? Him: Yah, let's have dinner then, invite the girls. Me: Well, Lisa and Jade has stuff to do, so only Silvia and I are available. Him: Ok, hey I gotta go home, I'm off work now. I'll call you and the boys when i get home and let you know what's up. Me: Ok, but you better not flake! Oh and I just talked to Silvia on AIM, she says she wants to go too so make sure to give her a call. *He signs off*
30Mins later Phone rings. It's Mickey. "Hey, What do you want to eat? Well, I'm going to meet up with the boys right now. I'll call you back later and let you know where we're eatting."
20Mins later Phone rings. "Hey we decided to go to BJ's, have you been there? No? Well you'll be in for a surprise!" Silvia says she'll meet us there, come in like 30mins, we're leaving now to make reservations."
30Mins later I head out for my car and turn on the ignition. Mickey calls again. "Hey, just to let you know, BJ's has a 3 hour wait so go to PF Chang's ok? You know where that is? Ya, it's on the same strip as BJ's."
So I start driving to Oakridge. Friday night, holiday shoppers, parking was a bitch. I was following this Indian guy who got into his car, but to only sit there and talk on his phone. I waited for 10mins and he still didn't move. I scan around to find a guy going to his car a section over. I hurried, tires screeching and all, and got to his place before someone else did. "YES! Parking at last!" I go into the mall, but have no idea how to get to PF Chang's. I was hoping to go through Linen and Things but unfortunately the entrance and just an entrance, you could not exit. I guess people would steal and run out of that entrance so they had to block it off. So i walked back into the mall and walked a few shops over until i heard someone yell out my name. I look back and to my surprise i find Mickey and the gang! I also saw my long lost cousin who moved to LA in middle school. I gave him a hug.
Then we made our way to PF Chang's. We got in and they had our seats ready. Silvia and John still weren't there yet and they got our drinks. Nga asked if I wanted cookies, which I refused because I was saving myself for some americanized chinese food. Soon John and Silvia came. Only to find out that she was wearing the same jacket that I had wanted when I went shopping with them last time. We then ordered our food and the waiter forgot to take Regie's and Mickey's menus. Mickey was like and said "DUDE" really loud to Regie, and the waiter turned around and took the menus. Regie was then like, "Mickey! Great, now we're getting spit in our food!" The food was ok, I don't think I'll ever go back though. It was sort of disappointing and expensive for Chinese food. The dinner ended with the waiter packing up our food and forgetting Mickey's on the tray while I was in the restroom. Mickey then said to Regie, "Dude, that guy left my shit over there!" and apparently the waiter heard this and took his left overs to the back. That waiter sucked though, he forgot our orders and had to double check with us what we ordered, he also went on break without telling us.
After dinner the gang wanted to see I Legend. I didn't have money left, so I decided to skip out, but Silvia, John, Mickey and I went around shopping for gifts while the mall was still opened. I ended up getting a gift card for my mom and a tie for my dad.
I had fun that night, we should do it again.

| Lately people have been asking me for a Christmas list. There's not much I want, and the things i do want are sort of silly.
1. Urban Outfitters Limited Edition Hello Kitty Vinyl Figures
2. Moofia (Tokidoki) vinyl figures. Can be found at a good price at Urban Outfitters. 3. Gloomy Bear, I want the hand puppet one from Hot Topic! 4. If all else fails, an Urban Outfitter, Hollister or AE gift card would work. Oh and I'm having a Blythe fund because I want a green haired one! (I know I'm crazy.) So you can just give me the money for that. :P
